Is your child struggling to read at grade-level despite all of your efforts?

Every student deserves reading and writing support that works.

Difficulties in reading and writing can impact children in:

School Performance

All subjects require reading and writing. Students may have knowledge and interest in other subjects but have difficulty showing what they know.

Self-confidence

Children often feel frustrated by not understanding their strengths and challenges. They may begin to experience anxiety, self-doubt, avoidance, or disinterest in reading and writing tasks.

Social Interactions

Social connections don’t just happen face-to-face. Difficulty reading and writing can cause students to miss out on text-based social opportunities.

Help your child overcome obstacles by starting weekly intervention with a Speech-Language Pathologist. Feel confident knowing that lessons are based on the Science of Reading. Each session is tailored to individual strengths and challenges.

Danielle Boot MPEd. MSc. Reg. CASLPO

The highlight of my week is witnessing students grow in their reading/writing skills and self-confidence. As an avid reader myself, I have always been curious about the science and psychology behind the process. My first Masters degree is in education, specifically related to early literacy and phonological awareness. My second Masters degree is in Speech-Language Pathology.

When providing literacy support, each student is assessed individually, and intervention is flexibly adjusted to each of their needs. I incorporate my knowledge of reading, writing, language development, executive functions, and speech sound disorders to target individual gaps in learning.
